(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- During his first participation in the 2025 edition of the Peru Gaming Show, Diego Verano, Director of Business Development LatAm at EEZE, talked to SoloAzar about his experience at the event, his interest in the LatAm market and his vision on the evolution of the sector in the region.

"PGS 2025 is a must for players in the igaming world", Diego Verano, EEZE

During the 19th and 20th of June, a new edition of the Peru Gaming Show (PGS) took place at the Jockey Exhibition Centre, Lima, Peru, consolidating itself as one of the most relevant meetings for the sector in the Andean region.

EEZE, an international provider of B2B solutions focused on Live Casino, participated for the first time at the show, and its Director of Business Development Latam, Diego Verano, shared with us his experience at the event.

When asked about what motivated EEZE to visit this edition of the Peru Gaming Show and how he would describe his overall experience at the event, Diego Verano, pointed out that ‘Peru represents a dynamic and fast-growing iGaming market, which is why we are very excited about our first participation in PGS 2025’.

He highlighted that they are finalising the certification and homologation process in Peru, so he stated that ‘EEZE's presence in Peruvian territory is a key step in the expansion of the brand in Latin America’.

Panel ‘Marketing Ecosystem’ and its importance in the media

‘The Marketing Ecosystem for an online gaming operation in Peru’, moderated by Ana María Padrós was the panel highlighted by Diego Verano, as the panelists addressed the value of traditional media and BTL activations, ‘stating that TV, radio and outdoors are not dead channels as wrongly believed’.

He also underlined that ‘when carrying out a 360 marketing model, the results of digital campaigns are fully measurable, while traditional media present complexities, stressing that the objective of these advertisements is to generate an emotional bond’.

Peru as an epicentre to expand its markets

When asked what value they believe PGS brings to the development of the gaming industry in Peru, Diego did not hesitate to underline the relevance of the event for the growth of the sector. ‘PGS 2025 is a must-attend event for players in the iGaming world,’ he said. He also highlighted that ‘Peru is the epicentre for those looking for opportunities and to expand their markets’, defining Lima as ‘an extraordinary showcase to find the latest innovations for operators and related industries, while suppliers have a unique space to demonstrate their proposals’.

Market evolution in the Latam region

When asked about his vision on the evolution of the Peruvian market compared to others in the Andean region, he highlighted the country's historical role in regulatory matters. ‘Historically, Peru has been a pioneer in the regulation of the industry, being one of the first countries in Latin America to regulate the land-based sector". And added that "it allowed the development of a solid ecosystem of gaming halls distributed throughout the territory’.

As for the present, he noted that ‘the recent regulation of iGaming in the country opens up new opportunities, as the Peruvian market is now fully regulated, generating a safe and transparent environment for both online gaming, sports betting and face-to-face gaming’.

Regional expansion with a focus on Peru

Finally, Diego told us about his expansion plans in Peru and the region: “We hope to hold talks with clients in Peru and Brazil, but also to expand our network of contacts in Argentina, Ecuador and Chile, where we are interested in helping to develop our presence in those markets, with an emphasis on the Peruvian market". He concluded: "The objective of our participation in PGS is to reaffirm and consolidate our brand in the Latin American market.
